Combating hate speech in Ukraine

Objectives: This call for grants under the joint European Union and Council of Europe ‘Partnership for Good Governance’ initiative aims to support Ukrainian civil society organizations (CSOs) in combating hate speech. By co-funding local and national projects, the grant seeks to enhance responses to hate speech, particularly towards vulnerable groups, through non-legal means such as counter-narratives and human rights education. Funded initiatives are expected to facilitate direct engagement with communities affected by hate speech and adhere to European standards for tackling this issue.
