Senior Recruiter – EU International Cooperation Projects

SOGEROM SA is a Luxembourg-based management consultancy helping donors and beneficiary countries in the formulation, implementation and assessment of development cooperation projects. We’re currently looking for Senior Recruiter (can be Home-based or +/- 1 to 2 h difference  to CET) to reinforce our Experts search team.

 Skills and Qualifications:

• At least Bachelor’s degree (Postgraduate degree e.g., Master is a plus) in any development cooperation related field.
• Extensive familiarity with the European Commission and other major donors’ agencies.
• At least 3 years of professional working experience recruiting Experts to provide Technical Assistance for donor funded projects/programmes
• Ability to develop a creative search strategy to identify and qualify experts based on Terms of reference of projects
• Demonstrated track record to identify, negotiate and close financial terms with candidates within EU framework contracts (ie FWC SIEA 2018)
• Demonstrated portfolio of personal contacts with development cooperation experts
• Ability to work with very tight deadlines, often under pressure as in a stand-alone and team configuration depending of projects
• Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and French; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work in a flexible time approach driven by performance

Responsibilities: 

• Recruiting experts for projects financed by the European Commission and any other donors
• Negotiating financial and other project related conditions with the experts; 
• Preparing CVs and relevant documentation in line with the ToRs criteria;
• Contributing to develop and enhance tools, standards and procedures to optimize and improve our success rate; 
• Build, maintain and reinforce trust relationship with experts, partner companies and other stakeholders.
