Description
International Development Ireland is looking for a non-Key Short Term Junior Legal/Regulatory expert that is aware of local laws and regulations that potentially prevent electronic equipment or any equipment to be placed in public property. The expert will need to look at addressing required permits and ways of interactions with the identified and responsible authorities.
Outline of the task
The selected expert will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Meet with the project and local mentor to be briefed and agree actions;
- Investigate the legal/ regulatory issue;
- Prepare and deliver a report that includes recommendations on actions related to launch of the product on the market and in particular obtains permits;
- Offer a feedback sessions with project and local mentor to present the main findings and discuss them in the context of compliance;
- Deliver a short report to the TL on the activities undertaken and how this has added value to the project. This report must be suitable for inclusion in the main Progress report.

Junior Expert Profile: |

Qualifications and skills: |
Ø Relevant university degree (Law, Environmental sciences etc) Ø Professional level of English, both spoken and written. Ø Computer literacy (MS Office applications). |

General professional experience: |
Ø Minimum of 3 years of professional experience investigating and/ or advising on regulatory issues. |
|
Specific professional experience: |
Ø Proven prior experience of consulting on legal/ regulatory issues to private sector clients in the area of legislating related to environmental compliance in Albania/ Kosovo*. Ø Fluency in the language of the designated WB6 (native speakers preferred). |
