Long Term Non-Key Expert 2 (recycling electronic waste) for Technical Assistance for Enhancing the Rare Earth Elements Research and Innovation Capacity of Turkey Project

IDI will hire a Long Term Non-Key Expert 2 for the project “Technical Assistance for Enhancing the Rare Earth Elements Research and Innovation Capacity of Turkey”. We are looking for candidates who are eligible with all the criteria below.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in fields of Mining Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering /Chemical Engineering/Chemistry.
• Applicants holding a post- graduate degree (MSc and/or PhD degree) in above fields relevant to the production of REE from Recycling Process of Electronic Waste will be an asset.
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).

General professional experience

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in "Recycling of Electronic Waste and REE Industry" following the attainment of Bachelor degree.

Specific professional experience

• Minimum 3 preferably 5 years of working experience in extraction and purification of REEs from ore materials conducting hydrometallurgical processes including roasting / calcination / leaching / solvent extraction / ion exchange methods.
• Minimum 3 preferably 5 years of working experience in recovery of REEs from electronic waste by physical/hydrometallurgical/pyrometallurgical/solvent extraction/electrolysis.
