Sector Lead for Agribusiness (National)

The project is part of the program "Technical Education and Labor Market Development". The program objective is: “The employment situation of young adults in Egypt has improved both quantitatively and qualitatively”.

The subject of the tender is developing and establishing two Centres of Competence (CoC) in the Agribusiness and Tourism/Hospitality sectors.

Module Objective: The systemic framework conditions for dual vocational education and training have been improved in accordance with the reform strategy Technical Education 2.0 of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Training. 

TASK OF THE EXPERT

• Act as main focal point for all activities in the agribusiness sector
• Identify, network and act as key liaison for private partners in the sector (sectoral representation, companies and others)
• Ensure the needs of the private sector are reflected in the CoC development
• Support expert 3 in (re-)designing 4 dual training programmes for the agribusiness sector
• Support the Team Leader in identifying and coordinating short-term experts from the agribusiness sector

• University master’s degree in agricultural economics, agricultural business, agricultural engineering, agricultural science, food or animal production
• Knowledge of written modern standard Arabic C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages , spoken Egyptian 
• 10 years of professional experience in a private company in the Agribusiness sector
• 8 years of professional experience in human resource development in the Agribusiness sector
• 2 years of experience working on DC projects

300 working days over 28 months from February 2023
