Your mission

For our international trainings focusing mainly on mediation support, negotiation, national dialogue and peace education we are looking for a Training Coordinator (d/f/m) to fill this role, preferably in 
full-time and placed in Berlin.  As the interface role between our trainers, internal project managers, external contacts on the donor side, the participants, and possibly other service providers, you are the focal point for a successful training process.
Overview of the position:
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time // Starting date: As soon as possible // Location: Berlin
Duration: limited contract for 12 months with the objective of long-term cooperation
Department: Department Global Learning for Conflict Transformation
Your main tasks:

  • Design, implementation and management of all Standard Operations Procedures in training management support (need analysis, surveying of training components within our projects, marketing assistance by checking concepts notes/proof reading, actual planning and implementation procedures, training evaluation and reporting)
  • Provide coordination support to various trainings, including preparation and coordination of registrations, invitations, materials, technical support
  • You communicate with internal and/or external participants all details in a timely and professional manner
  • You provide (online) technical support during trainings if possible
  • You improve quality by including feedback surveys, M&E, documentation and reporting into the standard processes
  • You support the department management by mapping out training plans and schedules with the objective to ease efficient personnel planning
  • Together with our finance managers, you ensure correct invoicing and administrative integration into the international projects.
 
Your knowledge, experience & skills
  • You have a degree in the commercial field or in one of our areas of specialization (political science; international relations; conflict research)
  • Your prior professional experience in related roles, such as training manager, training coordinator, team assistant or others, is crucial
  • First experience in professional sales of trainings is an asset
  • You have an intuitive sense for participant needs and promote an enriching learning atmosphere
  • You speak excellent English and very good German
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating with colleagues from all over the world
  • You are confident with the MS Office package as well as with common online event tools such as Zoom
  • Good writing and editing skills

 The contract duration of the full-time position is initially limited for 12 months, depending on the availability of funds, and should start as soon as possible.
