Project: “Technical Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative ”
The overall objective is developing and establishing two Centres of Competence in the Agribusiness and Tourism/Hospitality sectors. Duration: 2 years project - Provisional commencement date 01/01/2023
National expert.
Estimated level of effort for the position: min. 300 total of working days
Work Components and Tasks:

WC 1: |
Act as main focal point for all activities in the agribusiness sector. |

WC 2: |
Identify, network and act as key liaison for private partners in the sector (sectoral representation, companies and others) . |
|
WC 3 WC 4: |
Ensure the needs of the private sector are reflected in the CoC development
Support expert National TVET Advisor in (re-)designing, dual training programmes for the agribusiness sector. Support the Team Leader in identifying and coordinating short-term experts from the agribusiness sector |
Qualifications and skills:
- Master degree in agricultural economics, agricultural business, agricultural engineering, agricultural science, food or animal production
- Knowledge of written modern standard Arabic C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, spoken Egyptian and English C1
General professional experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a private company in the Agribusiness sector
Specific professional experience:
- At least 8 years of professional experience in human resource development in the Agribusiness sector
- At least 2 years of experience working on development cooperation projects
