Key expert 2-Senior Key Expert in SME policy for EU4Business Facility – Phase III

EURO-FUNDING Multilateral Projects S.L. is looking for a Senior Key Expert for "EU4Business Facility: investing in the Eastern Neighbourhood – Phase 3" Project: 

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the development of sustainable and equitable economic growth in the EaP countries, which can generate more investments and improve socio-economic conditions and employment opportunities for citizens.

The Senior Key Expert must fulfill the following requirements:

Qualifications and skills

• Master-level degree, or equivalent, in Economics, Law, Business Administration or any other discipline relevant for this assignment (or equivalent professional experience)
• Excellent command of English (written and oral) is mandatory. Knowledge of Russian would be an asset
• Good IT skills
• Proven experience in writing analytical reports and/or technical papers
• Proven experience in coordinating activities with various stakeholders
• Proven experience with research on private sector development (PSD): produced or contributed to at least five studies, reports or policy papers on PSD
• Proven knowledge of the SME sector in the Eastern Neighbourhood region (policies, business climate, major issues and challenges, legal framework, institutional set up)
• Proven knowledge of EU and Member States SME policies would be an asset
• Familiarity with SME policy making in EaP countries would be an asset

General professional experience

• At least 5 years of experience with project management

Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years' experience in private sector development and/or SME development projects: experience in the design of SME policies and draft of SME legal framework is an asset
• At least 4 years' professional experience working in/on the Eastern Neighbourhood region

Notes:

1. The Key Expert must be independent and free from conflict of interest in the responsibilities they take on.
2. Expected start date of the project: 01 June 2023, with a duration of 48 months.
3. The Senior Key Expert will be assigned a minimum of 500 working days.
