Our main office is located in Worms. Our company is mainly active in the field of water supply, waste and sewage disposal, infrastructure and environmental technology.

We are looking for a Geographer (m / f / d) with in-depth knowledge on GIS-software to strengthen the team. The main area of responsibility is the optimization of irrigation and reservoir management.

In detail, the work includes the following activities:

  • Creation, processing and management of geospatial data using GIS-based software, mainly using remote sensing methodologies;
  • Integration of field data into the GIS data structure;
  • Definition of project-specific quality requirements of spatial data as well as data conversion and quality management according to project-specific requirements;
  • Data analysis and evaluation in the context of water supply and sanitation projects using GIS-based software;
  • Preparation of spatial data using GIS as a basis for processing with CAD software and hydraulic modeling software as well as integration of modeling outputs and CAD data sets into the GIS system;
  • Description and visualization of the data analysis based on GIS.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Geography, Geoinformatics or related.
  • Profound knowledge on geographic information systems (QGIS, ArcGIS);
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling (EPANET, SWMM) or CAD knowledge beneficial;
  • Fluent in English and German, ideally other language skills;
  • Very good communication and team skills;
  • Willingness to take on responsibility;
  • Willingness to travel (works can include field missions to the project area)
