International Senior Evaluator - Resilience initiative in Niger and DRC

North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) is looking for an International Senior Evaluator for the evaluation of a resilience initiative in Niger and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Requirements:

·       Minimum of 12 years of experience in evaluation in the development and humanitarian sector

·       Prior work experience in Niger (or the Sahel zone) or in DRC (or Central Africa)

·       Willingness to travel to the capitals of Niger or DRC

·       Experience evaluating resilience, livelihoods, food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture interventions

·       Experience evaluating programmes in protracted and recurrent crises affected-regions

·       Knowledge of gender, equity, and wider inclusion issues

·       Experience in systems and institutions analysis

·       Familiarity with the operating structures of UN agencies

·       Familiarity with UN resilience-building approaches

·       Oral and written fluency in English and French (deliverables will be in English)

·       Experience with Qualitative Impact Assessment Protocol (QuIP) is an asset

·       Availability starting immediately
