Key Expert 3: Public Diplomacy Manager

Key Expert 3: Public Diplomacy Manager (indicatively 880 days)

Responsible for the implementation of the public diplomacy section of component 2 under the strategic lead of Key Expert 1, and with support of a team of non-key experts. The expert should spend at least 80% of the working time in the Western Balkan region as a base location.

Qualifications and skills

-        University degree (or equivalent) in at least one of the following fields: media, communication, marketing or advertising;

-        Fluency in English

-        Knowledge of one or more local languages (Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin,  Serbian and Macedonian) is an asset;

General professional experience

-        A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in at least one of the following fields: media, communication, marketing or advertising

Specific professional experience

-        A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing projects in at least one of the following fields: media, communication, marketing or advertising

-        A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing stakeholder engagement activities

-        Professional experience in managing at least 2 projects to set up and manage youth networks and/or design and implementation of youth activities

-        Specific experience in communication activities targeting audiences in the Western Balkan region is an asset
