Senior Procurement Experts for Anticipated KfW-funded Projects in the MENA Region

NIRAS is looking for senior procurement experts for various prospective KfW projects in the MENA region.

Country:
Region Middle East and North Africa, Middle East and North Africa

Qualifications required:

• University degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Law, Economics, Supply Management, Engineering, or Financing;

• Knowledge of spoken and written modern standard Arabic, C1, and English, C1, in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;

• Negotiation and moderation skills with senior decision-makers;

• Computer skills (MS Office software);

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional experience required:

• 8 years of professional working experience in public procurement of works, equipment and/or consulting services in complex projects;

• Experience in international procurement procedures, specifically KfW or multilateral development bank procedures (i.e. World Bank, EIB, AfDB);

• Procurement experience in leading technical assistance in areas such as preparation of tender documents (standard bidding documents), accompanying of bidding processes and drafting of contracts;

• Experience in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting and monitoring;

• Knowledge of national public procurement procedures will be an advantage.
