Evaluation Team - The Nexus Response mechanism

Title: The Nexus Response mechanism (NRM) Mid Term evaluation

Required profile for the Expert: The minimum requirements covered by the team of experts as a whole are detailed below:

Qualifications and skills required for the team: University Degree or equivalent, better if in development cooperation, social sciences or similar humanistic degree. Specialised Masters in the field of development cooperation will be an asset.

General professional experience of the team: At least 20 years, including significant experience in evaluation, mostly in but not limited to the field of development cooperation, with solid experience in rigorous evaluation methods and techniques.

Specific professional experience of the team:

• At least one member of the team shall possess a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in programming, including significant experience in the design, implementation and/or evaluation of development cooperation programmes. 
• The team leader must have a proven record of having been implementing triple NEXUS approaches or having been evaluating them.
• At least one member of the team shall possess a minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in Myanmar context. 
• At least one member of the team shall possess minimum 3 years of proven experience in humanitarian aid assistance.
• At least one member of the team shall possess 5 years of proven experience of working in the political and development spectrum in Myanmar.
• At least one member of the team shall possess proven experience in the evaluation of EU-funded projects. At least two members of the team shall possess proven work experience in Myanmar.

Start date and period of implementation
The indicative start date is 16/10/2023 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 166 days from this date (indicative end date: 31/03/2024).
