Road Pavement and Quality Assurance Engineer /Cement Concrete Pavement Specialist

Input = 12 months

Education:

• Degree in civil engineering and experience in QA/QC functions in road construction.
• Should possess professional licensing (charted/certified) and the right to practice the profession.

Qualifications:

• 12 years of continuous experience similar experience in all phases of pavement mix design, quality assurance process and supervision of construction works.
• Experience in CIS countries.
• Language 1: Must be fluent in English
• Language 2: knowledge in Russian Language

Duties:

(1) Prepare the Quality Assurance plan.
(2) Participate in the preparation of the supervision manual.
(3) Supervise the testing and evaluation of highway construction materials used in modern highway construction techniques during the supervision stage.
(4) Review mix designs for cement and asphalt concrete pavement submitted by the Contractor.
(5) Monitor and inspect the Contractor’s quality control and assurance program to ensure compliance with Contract standards and specifications. This includes regular checks of the materials testing program.
(6) Conduct regular audits of the Contractor’s and subcontractors’ quality systems to ensure they meet the requirements of the systems and the EA’s quality objectives.
(7) Assess and verify laboratory and field tests carried out by the contractor, and perform independent tests as needed.
