Quantity Surveyor

Job Specifications:

• Graduation in Civil Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 25 years of total experience into major highway construction & design projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience into road design projects as Quantity Surveyor.
• Must have international experience and member of professional associations.
• Must be fluent in English; ability to communicate in Portuguese would be preferred.

Job Description:

• To review Tender Documents & Client’s requirement.
• Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors / Sub Contractors against project specifications.
• To calculate the cost by calculating quantity of material required for any and every activity involved in construction.
• Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.
• To assist and advise clients / contractors on compliance issues and commercial risks associated with their projects.
