Key expert 2: Creative Director (240 man days)


Qualifications and skills

• Preferably a Master Degree in Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Or in absence of a Master’s, an undergraduate degree in the above mentioned disciplines, with an additional 5 years relevant professional experience over and above the relevant professional experience listed below.
• Demonstrated creative proficiency in graphic design, multimedia production and an advanced understanding of design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

General professional experience

• At least 7 years’ experience in creative leadership roles within advertising agencies, marketing departments or related fields.
• Proven track record of successful campaign development and execution.
• Experience managing creative teams and a strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour, with the ability to translate insights into creative strategies.

Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years of brand development experience including direct involvement in the development and evolution of brand identities for large organisations.
• At least 5 years of experience in conceptualizing and overseeing the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print and experiential components.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in creating digital content, and social media campaigns, and a deep understanding of online user behaviour.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing creative budgets effectively, optimizing resources to achieve maximum impact.
• Experience in the implementation of EU communication and visibility, including the management of the EU’s public image as well as experience working in the Southern African region will be an added advantage.

***The Expert can work remotely but should indicatively spend at least 65% (minimum of 156 man days) of their time in the country. The Experts are expected to travel at least twice a year.
