Key expert 1: Team Leader/Project Manager

The overall objective of the project is to promote better knowledge of the EU culture and the overall EU cooperation priorities in Jordan, contribute to mutual understanding, dialogue between cultures and to bring EU and Jordan societies' closer together.

Key expert 1: Team Leader: Communication Project Manager (min. 130 working days per year)
Qualifications and skills
- University degree in science of culture, cultural anthropology, economics, business administration or in a relevant directly related discipline.
- Excellent command of English (written, spoken, understanding);
- Excellent command of Arabic is an asset.

General professional experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in one of the following areas: social media, digital marketing, communication, journalism, new media, public relations, media relations or similar.

Specific professional experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in one or more of the following fields: events management, assistance to creative industries, cultural cooperation and exchanges or capacity building.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in in one or more of the following fields: supervision and management of projects on intercultural dialogue, development cooperation, communication or public relations;
- Proven experience in conceiving, planning and implementing large scale events and/or film and/or music festivals;
- Knowledge of the local context and the creative field in Jordan;
- Competency in developing and maintaining sustainable relations with stakeholders.
