Proposal Objective:
SI is bidding on a proposal funded through USAID/Jamaica, to conduct a final performance evaluation of the Violence Prevention in Targeted Vulnerable Communities & Schools (VPTVCS) in Jamaica activity. The final performance evaluation will seek to assess the extent to which VPTVCS target beneficiaries accessed support services offered by the activity; to what degree VPTVCS incorporated the use of evidence-based interventions to prevent youth crime and violence; and how the activity can improve access to alternative justice programs for vulnerable youth. Finding and recommendations from the evaluation will be instructive for broader Caribbean Basin
Security Initiative (CBSI) programming considerations.
The estimated period of performance for this evaluation is 4 months.
If awarded to SI, the evaluation is anticipated to begin summer 2024.
