ResultsinHealth (RiH) is looking for an energetic Project Manager to join its Procurement and Supply chain Management (PSM) team in Leiderdorp. We are recruiting a new colleague with a hands-on mentality who is driven, diplomatic, organized, enthusiastic, tenacious, positive and cheerful.

ResultsinHealth (RiH) is an international development advisory firm located in the Netherlands. RiH is dedicated to effective disease prevention and improving access to health. We strengthen health systems and accurately monitor & evaluate the progress and results of program implementation efforts. Based on our work and recommendations, donor agencies and governments make evidence-based decisions on spending for medicines and health products and controlling risks in supply chains for optimized efficiency. Our largest client is the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GF). Since 2003, RiH has been a trusted and respected development partner in evaluating supply chains in countries that receive GF grants. We work in more than 50 countries worldwide with a large group of experts, mainly pharmacists and laboratory specialists. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the RiH PSM portfolio: Ensure implementation and follow-up of multiple concurrent country workplans and services;
  • Regular communication with RiH experts and partners backstopping teams;
  • Provide coordination and support on supply chain assignments and Global Fund technical areas when applicable;
  • Participate in New Business Development, and develop expressions of interest for funders;
  • Coordinate recruitment, maintenance, and management of RiH pool of Experts;
  • Assist in Expert mission and assignment evaluations;
  • Assist with improvements to RiH work processes and tools, and strategic initiatives;
  • Provide administrative support for RiH Experts on contracting, invoicing, and communication, travel bookings, visas, English editing, and completeness of reports/deliverables;
  • Represent RiH at conferences, meetings and trainings when appropriate;
  • Coordinate the provision of materials for RiH communication;
  • Coordinate organization and liaison for meetings or training with experts/clients and in-house capacity building.

Qualifications

You can successfully qualify for the position if you have:

  • A university degree in social sciences, management, health, or operations. Master-level qualifications are preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience managing complex projects across countries;
  • Preference for candidates with qualifications in public health, pharmaceutical, non-profit, operations, or supply chain
    management;
  • Experience with working in a diverse and international environment, occasional travels is required;
  • Required spoken and written fluency in English, preference for additional languages;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Office 365, etc.;
  • Living in The Netherlands or willing to relocate;
  • Dutch nationality, the nationality of an EEA country or Switzerland, or in possession of a valid Gecombineerde
    vergunning voor verblijf en arbeid (GVVA)1.
