DRS (DevelopmentAid Recruitment Solutions) is looking for a Bid Management Specialist, who will oversee the development and delivery of proposals for tenders of varying complexity. Working under the guidance of the Strategic Business Development Manager, you will lead the bid team in crafting winning proposals by coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring adherence to budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Form and lead the bid team, orchestrating resources to deliver proposals within specified timeframes and budgets.
- Establish potential consortia with support from the Strategic Business Development Manager and maintain thorough administrative oversight.
- Develop comprehensive bid plans, addressing all aspects including administrative, methodological, and narrative components.
- Devise strategic approaches aligned with tender requirements, optimizing value propositions and solution strategies.
- Contribute substantially to the written proposals, ensuring coherence, clarity, and alignment with client needs and company strategy.
- Ensure proposal compliance across commercial, legal, and administrative dimensions, adhering to deadlines and financial constraints.
- Manage information and document handling, facilitating knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Monitor the EU market landscape, assessing competitors' strengths and strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in bid management.
- Profound understanding of EU institutions, procurement practices, and regulations.
- Fluent English (at least C1) with exceptional written commercial skills.
- Proven decision-making abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated autonomy, responsibility, and commitment to quality.
- Strong leadership skills, adaptable to collaborative environments.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, managing tight deadlines and complex issues.
- Experience handling multiple bids simultaneously in multicultural settings.
- Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Analytical prowess and effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with CSR principles.
