A successful candidate will have the following:

FH is seeking an experienced Sr. Compliance, Safeguarding and Investigations Officer (CSI) to support the Director of CSI (DCSI) in implementation of the Compliance and Ethics Program, as well as the Safeguarding Program within the organization. The qualified CSI will have a Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of external audit, internal audit, fraud or internal investigations and/or risk management experience.

  • A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs.
  • Advanced knowledge of compliance and ethics processes and practices.
  • Proficient in conducting operational reviews and fraud investigations. 
  • In-depth understanding of compliance and ethics standards, regulations, and reporting procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing risks, detecting gaps and proposing effective solutions.
  • Proficient in conducting compliance assessments, investigations, and compliance reviews.

What you’ll do…

As the TA Director, you will:

Compliance & Ethics

  • Support DCSI in implementing the Compliance and Ethics Program by creating awareness through training and information sessions to FH Personnel.
  • Support investigation teams in identifying gaps, reviewing and resolving ethical violations in accordance with FH Whistleblower and Investigation guidelines.
  • Provide training on the compliance program and ethical standards, including but not limited to anti-terrorism, anti-fraud, and corruption to FH Personnel.

Safeguarding

Assist in ensuring that the FH Safeguarding Program/Framework is robust, effective, and anchored on international best practice standards of Do no Harm to those we serve.
Collaborate with DCSI to promote an organizational culture of safeguarding across the organization to deliver strategic priorities.
Work with the DCSI team to design a safeguarding framework that is anchored on FH’s Heartbeat values, Culture, and Golden Circle and aligned with the Program Model.
Country Office Compliance 

Support COs in performing compliance risk assessment in collaboration with ERM team and risk champions and in accordance with FH’s ERM framework, Policy and Guidelines ensure controls are in place to mitigate critical compliance risks.
Work with COs to ensure the Community Systems, Accountability and Feedback (CSAFE) policy is rolled out and fully implemented in all FH Countries.
Investigations

Support DCSI in case management and work with investigation teams to ensure timely and effective investigations.
Lead assigned cases and investigations in accordance with internal investigation guidelines.
