Le Programme d'Urgence de Développement Communautaire (PUDC) est une initiative gouvernementale mise en place dans plusieurs pays. C’est une déclinaison du Plan National de Développement de la Transition (PNDT) orientées sur les aspects de développement local. Son objectif principal est de dynamiser le développement économique et social des zones rurales en améliorant les infrastructures de base et en offrant des opportunités économiques aux populations locales. Le PUDC vise à réduire la pauvreté, à promouvoir l'inclusion sociale et à renforcer la résilience des communautés rurales en investissant dans des secteurs clés tels que l'agriculture, la santé, l'éducation, les infrastructures routières et énergétiques, ainsi que l'accès à l'eau potable et à l'assainissement. Cette initiative est mise en œuvre avec le soutien du Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement (PNUD) afin de maximiser son impact et d'assurer sa durabilité à long terme.
