Job Title:  Advisory Pool – Ethiopia Investment Advisory Facility
 
 
BACKGROUND

SUMMARY
Cowater is looking for experts for an upcoming programme to support the Government of Ethiopia with reforming state owned enterprises and strengthening public investment management.
 
 
ROLES
Cowater seeks short- and long-term experts who can be mobilised and deployed quickly throughout the programme. The experts need to have experience in Ethiopia or similar context on the issues related to (the list is not exhaustive):

  • State-Owned Enterprises reform;
  • Public Investment Management;
  • Public Asset Management;
  • Public-Private Partnership;
  • Investment strategies;
  • Sector-Specific Expertise: energy, logistics, health, financial services, etc.
  • Government Advisory;
  • Capacity-Building and Knowledge Transfer;
  • Gender Equality and Social Inclusion;
  • Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (related to Technical Assistance)
  • Legal and Regulatory Frameworks;
  • Policymaking
  • Political and Economy Analysis

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the related technical area. JUNIOR EXPERTS are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience living and working in Ethiopia preferred; LOCAL EXPERTS are encouraged to apply
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of one or several languages spoken in Ethiopia will be an advantage
