Team Leader

Equinoccio, Compañía de Comercio Exterior, S.L, is looking for an Team Leader for the project “Trade and Private Sector Development (TPSD) Facility III”.

Location: Brussels.

Tentative start date:  01 September 2025

Duration: 54 months

Input: 990 working days

The team leader will the main counterpart of INTPA E2 for contract management ensuring high-quality project deliverables, providing strategic vision for the assignment, supervising and coordinating the input of other key and non key experts. He/She will also advise on the identification and implementation of activities. 

 Qualifications and skills

• University degree in the areas of economic, social or political sciences or 5 years of equivalent professional experience
• Flexibility, adaptability, Team worker and leadership
• Sense of priorities and good planner, used to needs assessment and working with EU Delegations and INTPA Headquarters.
• Domain of English as working language and good command of French.   Good knowledge of Spabnish is an asset.

 General professional experience

• 10 years proven experience covering the formulation and/or implementation and/or evaluation of international development co-operation policies, programmes and projects.

Specific professional experience

• 8 years of proven experience in formulating, implementing and evaluating international cooperation projects in the areas of private sector development,  sustainable investment, regional economic integration, business environment reform or related areas of expertise
• 5 years proven experience of working with countries eligible for NDICI and as team leader in international co-operation projects in the relevant areas of experience.
• Proven experience in working with the private sector, working as trainer, working with fragile states and knowledge about the EU Global Gateway Strategy and EU Regulations related to TPSD topics, will be considered as a plus.
