Programmatic / Monitoring & Evaluation Expert for Local Fund Agent services in Oceania

SGS is Local Fund Agent (LFA) for the Global Fund. We intend to expand our portfolio and are looking for experts to add to our LFA expert pool.

The Global Fund invests in projects worldwide to defeat HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Our teams of financial, M&E and PSM experts verify local project implementation by the fund recipient and report to the Global Fund in Switzerland. The time input by the team varies per country. The verifications are done remotely and in the project country.

In anticipation to a tender for LFA services to be launched by the Global Fund in Oceania, we would like to get in touch with monitoring & evaluation experts.

If you are interested, please carefully read the minimum requirements for the position:

•        Master’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, or other relevant discipline
•        Having worked at least 7 years in the health sector, notably in monitoring and evaluating health programs in developing countries
•        Thorough knowledge of epidemiology and programmatic interventions related to HIV and/or Tuberculosis and/or Malaria
•        Understanding of the dimensions of health service quality
•        Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting national service delivery guidelines
•        Strong understanding of public health monitoring and evaluation systems
•        Well versed in key population programming
•        Able to interpret performance results of health programs and analyse the impact of such results in the country context
•     Work experience in Oceania

Experience with Global Fund programs is an advantage.
