Objective of the Consultancy
The objectives of the consultancy are to:
1) Craft a Distinctive and Authentic National Brand for Suriname, that:
It is important that consultants deliver a hard-nosed and pragmatic brand for Suriname and SITA that, while acknowledging Suriname’s many impressive natural attributes, also supports the country to diversify economy away from a focus on extractives towards sectors that will lead to economic growth and prosperity across the nation.
2) Develop a dynamic and recognizable brand identity for the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA), which:
EXPECTED PROFILE
Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Brand Management, or a related field.
Years of Experience: At least 10 years of experience in branding, marketing strategy, and market positioning.
Type of Experience:
• Proven experience as a team leader or project manager in similar national/location branding or market positioning projects.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with stakeholders, including government and private sector partners.
• At least 3 years of experience working in the Caribbean region is preferred.
Additional Requirements: Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch is desirable.
