Veterinary / food safety legislation expert
Qualifications and skills
At least a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in agronomy, agricultural engineering, food processing, animal husbandry or veterinary/animal health, or at least 20 years of professional experience in these areas;
Veterinary education background is an asset;
Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian language is a plus.
General professional experience
At least 8 years of working experience on issues related to veterinary and / or food safety legislation;
Specific professional experience
Proven experience in implementing reforms and participating to the development and strengthening of at least one state veterinary and / or food safety service in an international setting;
Experience in participating to the implementation of Technical Assistance projects in countries covered by ENI, ENPI, IPA and PHARE Regulations is an asset.
All experts should possess an excellent command of English language, both spoken and written, as well as good communication skills.
