KPMG is looking to engage a Project Manager based in Morocco with regard to an upcoming assignment for investment compliance services with regard to financing facilities in the form of senior unsecured loans to financial institutions, including banks, microfinance, and leasing companies, dedicated to finance private sector sub-borrowers (SMEs and corporates) in Morocco for investments in sustainable energy, resource efficiency and climate resilience technologies.
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will support an international central management team with on-the-ground management, supervision and coordination of a pool of technical experts engaged in technical assistance services related to small, medium-sized and large green investments, including reviewing project documentation, conducting assessments and on-site spot checks, preparing detailed technical reports.
Nature of employment: Independent Consultant
Qualifications: A Graduate Degree (MSc. equivalent) in: Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Buildings/Technology, Agronomy/Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent
Professional Experience
· At least 15 years of experience in project management
· Technical experience in industrial/agricultural/building/residential/corporate energy and material efficiency, and/or renewable energy including related financing schemes
· Professional background and experience in investments supporting the implementation of relevant regulations applicable to Morocco, as well as best practices in EU in the areas of environmental protection, workers’ safety and product safety, and other Internationally Recognised Standards
· Expertise in project implementation planning
Language Competencies
Fluency in French and English, and desirable knowledge of Arabic.
