Technical Assistance for Supporting Civil Society Through Social Entrepreneurship in Türkiye
The project aims to foster a more conducive and sustainable environment for civil society and non-state actors in Türkiye by promoting social entrepreneurship as a strategic means to enhance social innovation, inclusivity, and economic resilience. This EU-funded initiative will support the development of sustainable social enterprises, strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations, and improve the overall framework for social entrepreneurship in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
The Team Leader will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and management of the project in accordance with the Terms of Reference (ToR) and EU procedures.
Key duties include:
Leading and supervising the project team and experts.
Managing day-to-day project operations and ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
Liaising with the DEUA’s Project Management Unit (PMU) and other stakeholders.
Ensuring quality control of project deliverables and compliance with project indicators and objectives.
Providing strategic direction and backstopping to the technical team.
Ensuring the project is implemented effectively, within scope, budget, and timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
At least a Bachelor’s degree. In the absence of a degree, at least 12 years of equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
General Professional Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
At least two experiences (of at least 220 working days each) in a managerial position such as Team Leader, Project Director, or equivalent.
Specific Professional Experience:
At least three assignments in the field of entrepreneurship or projects targeting SMEs/entrepreneurs.
Experience in social economy, impact entrepreneurship, or social innovation will be considered an asset.
