EUROPEAN PROFILES S.A. (GR) is looking for experts for the implementation of the following Framework Contract: "Technical Assistance for OACPS Secretariat restructuring (AAP 2023-Support measures)"

 

Services Location: Normal place of performance of the assignment: Brussels, Belgium

Start date: 01/08/2025

Duration: 180 days

 

Global objective

To support the OACPS Secretariat in implementing organisational reforms, including conducting staff reorganisations to transition the Secretariat to a new organisational structure and establishing policies and procedures to address the key findings of the 2024 system audit.

 

Specific objective(s)

Specific Objective 1 (SO1): Support the Secretariat to transition to a new organisational structure by strategic execution of tasks to minimise disruption and ensure alignment with the organisation's goals.

Specific Objective 2 (SO2): Support the Secretariat in establishing procedures and regulations as informed by the 2024 system audit and put in place administrative, contractual and financial checks, balances and controls.

 

Key Expert 3: Legal and Labour Law Expert

Qualifications and skills

Education

  • University degree in Law or equivalent

Language skills

  • C1 in English and French

Years of Experience

  • 6 years of experience in the legal field, preferably in areas related to labour law, institutional governance, or regulatory compliance within international or intergovernmental contexts.

Specific professional Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in Belgian labour law: proven experience handling employment contracts, dismissals, disputes
  • Experience in legal advisory work on staff regulations, HR legal issues, contract law and procurement procedures
  • Experience preparing or revising HR policies, staff regulations or internal rules as part of legal or institutional reform processes.
  • Experience in providing legal support in staff restructuring or downsizing
  • Familiarity with staff appeals, legal disputes, audit recommendations
