Functional responsibilities
Supports the selection of beneficiaries, community mobilization to ensure participation, as well as that the voices of community members, including women and elderly are heard;
The Community Mobilization Clerk supports the involvement of local grassroots leaders and community members in the implementation of the activities;
Call distributions as well as monitor the cash distributions;
Support trainings of communities in all aspects of the project;
Deliver the “Plus” activities that is complementary activities;
Monitor and collect all attendance registers.
Impact of Result
The community mobilizer will ensure that community mobilization and stakeholder engagement activities are implemented as stipulated in the Community Engagement and Capacity Building (CECB), and ensure that the communities are adequately informed about the project.
Education/Experience/Language requirements
Education
Secondary School Certificate is required.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Work Experience
Minimum of three(3)years of relevant work experience in community mobilisation or related experience is required.
Experience in organizing community procedures is desired.
Good experience of working in the relevant field location is highly desirable.
Language requirement
Fluency in written, reading and oral English required;
Knowledge of Local Arabic language is desired.
