LEVEL OF EFFORT: 122 days (80 days in country of residence/ remote and 42 days in country of the assignment: Jordan)
Job Responsibilities:
· Development of a framework methodology for circular business models to be implemented and introduced to the intermediaries , business development organizations and selected businesses in cooperation with Deputy team leader.
· Development of training materials, including a didactic concept on relevant circular economy approaches, e.g. resource efficiency, product design or business and production processes and selection and oversight of topic specific trainers.
· Technical support and backstopping during the roll-out of the green/circular concepts for products and services with companies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in economics or business management or innovation management.
- A total of 4 company-internal assignments or consulting projects each with 30 expert days or more in the last 5 years providing methodological guidance to SMEs in managing innovation processes (e. g. Design Thinking, Circo Track etc.).
- A total of 2 company-internal assignments or consulting projects each with a minimum of 30 expert days in the last 5 years providing advisory services to SMEs in developing circular business models (e. g. Product Design, Material substitution, Product-as-a-Service Models, Sharing-Models, Repair & Maintenance Services, Resource Recovery).
- 5 years of professional international experience in Europe and/or North America and/or East Asia and/or Southeast Asia and/or Australia.
- 1 year of professional experience in MENA region.
- Experience in the field of development cooperation.
- Availability to work in country of assignment for 42 days (Jordan).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken, English C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
