Expert with International experiences on specific green/circular business models

DURATION: 19 Months

LEVEL OF EFFORT: 150 days (90 days in country of residence/ remote and 60 days in country of assignment: Jordan).

Job Responsibilities:

·         Support in the development of research design as well as the implementation of the research and preparation of the studies for the preparation phase; for gaining a comprehensive understanding of Jordan’s green and circular business ecosystem and developing an appropriate methodology for the implementation of the assignment)

·         Support in the development of training materials and technical contribution to the development of service lines in capacity building intermediaries and business development organizations.

·         Support in the provision of specific advisory services for selected business models under business support services to develop concepts for green/circular business products and services.

·         Technical support and backstopping during the roll-out of the developed training modules for companies.

Qualifications:

·         University degree (e. g. ‘master’s or German Diploma’) in economics, environmental science or engineering.

·         Knowledge of English B2-level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

·         Has completed at least 4 company-internal assignments or consulting projects, with a minimum of 30 expert days per project within the last 5 years.

·         Availability to work in Jordan, country of assignment for 60 days.

·         A clearly defined role in delivering technical advisory services to SMEs on the implementation of green and/or circular business practices.

·         Has completed at least 4 company-internal assignments or consulting projects, with a minimum of 30 expert days per project within the last 5 years.

·         At least one of the following technical expertise must be covered (expert needs to specify in the cv which of the below technical expertise are covered while demonstrating clear defined responsibility of the following) :

o    Design of circular service offers.

o    Design of circular products (e. g., application of circular design principles, Eco-Design).

o    Clearly defined responsibility in process-engineering.

o    Resource and material recovery from solid waste (e. g., paper, plastic, metals).

o    Resource and material recovery from organic waste (e. g., composting).

·         5 years of professional experience in Europe and/or North America and/or East Asia and/or Southeast Asia and/or Australia (in accordance with UN DESA Statistics Division)
