WEglobal is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced Expert for Digital Communication for an EU-funded project in Türkiye. The Expert will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing digital communication strategies, with a strong focus on proactive campaigning, content development, and digital diplomacy.
Plan and execute digital communication activities, ensuring alignment with the institutional identity of the EU Delegation.
Proactively manage and develop content for websites, social media platforms, and digital campaigns.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital communication activities and suggest improvements.
Support digital diplomacy efforts through innovative and targeted online engagement.
Manage and oversee digital media platforms, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.
Contribute to promoting the EU Delegation’s visibility and messaging through creative digital strategies.
A university degree in journalism, marketing, or a related field. Alternatively, any university degree combined with minimum 10 years of experience in journalism, publishing, editing, digital diplomacy, or communication.
Proficiency in English at C1 (preferably C2) level according to the CEFR.
Proficiency in Turkish at C2 level according to the CEFR.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in producing a variety of information and communication materials.
At least 5 years’ experience working with social media platforms.
Minimum 3 years’ experience providing strategic advice on social media management.
Experience with digital media buying will be considered an asset.
This position requires a strong commitment to presence at the operational base in Ankara (minimum 80% of the time).
