Position Overview
Lapis Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced digital media professional to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of outreach campaigns across social platforms. This role requires a sharp strategist, creative collaborator, and analytics-driven executor who can communicate effectively with multilingual, multicultural audiences across the MENA region.
The Digital Media & Social Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing platform-specific strategies, coordinating content production, managing sponsored campaigns, engaging online communities, and tracking performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in digital campaign delivery, particularly in the context of public interest, social good, or civic engagement, and is confident in navigating both creative and compliance aspects of digital marketing
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Planning & Digital Strategy
- Develop channel-specific digital outreach plans aligned with campaign goals and audience profiles.
- Define campaign objectives, messaging pillars, and engagement tactics across Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms.
- Map audience targeting and budget strategies for paid promotion.
2. Content Oversight & Platform Management
- Maintain a structured social media calendar with platform-specific scheduling and performance goals.
- Draft and edit Arabic-language content (Modern Standard Arabic required; local dialect nuance a plus).
- Coordinate closely with creative, program, and production teams to ensure alignment and timely publishing.
3. Ad Management & Paid Promotion
- Plan and implement sponsored ad campaigns including A/B testing, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot delivery issues and ensure compliance with platform policies and brand guidelines.
- Maintain budget accuracy and monitor cost-efficiency of paid promotions.
4. Community Engagement & Moderation
- Monitor and manage audience interaction across platforms, ensuring timely and respectful engagement.
- Flag and escalate sensitive content or high-risk interactions in accordance with internal protocols.
- Foster constructive and safe online dialogue reflects campaign tone and values.
5. Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track weekly platform performance and summarize findings into actionable insights.
- Analyze engagement patterns, reach, and audience behavior to inform ongoing strategy.
- Contribute to post-campaign evaluations and final reports, including recommendations for future efforts.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in digital media or social campaign management.
- Proven success managing multi-platform campaigns with large ad budgets and high-volume traffic.
- Experience delivering visibility, advocacy, or public education campaigns in the MENA region.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads and native platform tools.
- Confident in using analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.) for reporting.
- Familiarity with scheduling and publishing tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprinklr, Hootsuite).
- Fluent in Arabic with strong writing and editing skills; English proficiency preferred.

- Highly organized and responsive, with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of managing deadlines, content QA, and high-pressure campaign windows.
- Collaborative, communicative, and able to work across disciplines.
- Culturally aware and sensitive to political and social contexts across the region.
Working Conditions
- Must be available for time-sensitive content tasks including ad approvals and moderation.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during campaign launches or media spikes.
- Flexibility and responsiveness are expected during high-volume content period.
