Civil Society Support Expert/ Capacity Building for Namibian Civil Socitey Organisations (CSO)

• General description of the position: The Civil Society Expert will implement the activities as per the ToRs and the proposed organisation and methodology.
• Expert category: Place of performance - Cat. I (>12 years of experience)
• Qualifications and skills required: Completed university studies of at least three years, attested by a diploma, preferably in the fields of social sciences, cultural studies, political sciences, international relations or economics. In the absence of such a degree, 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• General professional experience: At least 12 years of experience in any of the sub-sectors 1.1 to 1.4 related to the lot 10
• Specific professional experience:

- At least 6 years of professional experience in supporting organisational capacity development of Civil Society Organisations
- Experience in delivering trainings or organising seminars

- Experience in supporting advocacy or communication activities of CSOs

- Experience in a Southern African country will be an advantage.
• Language skills: Proficiency in English
• Number of working days: 220 days
