MAGENTA is conducting a mixed-methods national study to assess barriers to routine immunisation in Lebanon. The research aims to inform communication strategies, service delivery improvements, and policy interventions to increase vaccine uptake and trust in the health system, particularly among underserved communities. Data sources include a nationally representative sample of N= 1000 and 21 IDIs and 8 FGDs.

MAGENTA seeks an experienced researcher to Author the research report from outline to final submission, ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards. The researcher should assume that they will be provided with data sets (Qualitative data coded using MAXQDA and quantitative data sets analyzed by our statistician, providing tables, cross tabs and segmentations)

Scope of Work

Objective of the Assignment

To lead the drafting, integration, and coordination of the “Assessing Vaccine Hesitancy for Routine Immunisation in Lebanon” research report, ensuring high-quality, thematically integrated outputs that combine qualitative and quantitative findings into a cohesive narrative.

Detailed Tasks

The researcher will produce the following drafts of the Assessing Vaccine Hesitancy for Routine Immunisation In Lebanon report:

Qualifications & Experience

·       At least 5 years of robust mixed methods research experience, specifically with analysis and report writing capabilities.

·       Proven expertise in vaccine hesitancy and routine immunisation, ideally with experience in the Lebanese or wider MENA context.

·       Solid understanding of Lebanon’s public health landscape, including health system trust dynamics and community-level behavioural drivers.

·       Experience developing visual research products for strong storytelling e.g. infographics

·       Excellent English writing and editing skills; Arabic proficiency is an asset.

·       Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate multi-stakeholder review processes.
