Qualifications for Team Leader: Expert in CMO Position

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in the field of Agricultural Sciences, Economy, or directly related discipline, or vocational education in the same field plus four years of relevant professional experience’.
• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or PhD) in the mentioned fields will be considered as an asset.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English at the level of C1 or above.

General professional experience

• Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in the field of agriculture and/or rural development in EU MS.

Specific professional experience 

• Professional experience as a Team Leader, in at least one (1) technical assistance project related to institutional and legal alignment towards EU CAP policy2 in EU candidate countries or EU potential candidate countries. 1b) Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years’ managerial experience in an EU Member State institution or agency working on CAP related policy may substitute for the Team Leader project experience.
• Proven experience in implementation of particular assignments in the area of EU CMO3, in at least one (1) project in EU member state or EU candidate countries or EU potential candidate countries. 2b) Alternatively, a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in an EU Member State institution or agency working in the area of CMO may substitute for the project experience.
• Additional experience in technical assistance projects (as an expert other than Team Leader) related to institutional and legal alignment towards EU CAP policy in EU candidate or potential candidate countries will be considered an asset.
• Experience in the area of agriculture cooperatives, producer groups and/or producer organisation in EU MS or EU (potential) candidate countries will be considered as an asset.
