CEFE International got shortlisted to apply to the project “Anchoring the SME Loop approach in Nepal”. We are seeking a Climate Resilience Expert to join our team.
Co-develop, together with the Master Coach, a concept on how to integrate climate resilience in the SME Loop, including tools for mainstreaming climate resilience.
Support contextualisation of training materials, user guides, and guidelines for the green and gender-transformative SME Loop methodology in the Nepali context.
Prepare and conduct Training-of-Trainers (ToT) for trainers and coaches, including design of methodology and climate-related content.
Support trainers and coaches in developing an implementation plan of the climate-resilient SME Loop in their organisations.
Provide inputs for the selection of SMEs, particularly with regard to climate aspects.
Act as trainer and coach when required on climate resilience aspects.
Provide advisory support to SMEs on integrating climate resilience into operations, supply chains, infrastructure, and investment decisions.
Support M&E activities, including data collection, analysis, and visualisation .
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Climate Change, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development, or a related field.
Excellent command of Nepali (C1) and good English skills (B2).
At least 7 years of professional experience in climate change adaptation, resilience building, sustainable business development, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience advising private sector entities on climate adaptation, sustainability, or climate risk management.
At least 5 years of professional experience in Nepal.
Experience in development cooperation is an asset .
