Civil Engineer

Assignment Title: Development of feasibility studies for the special Agro-industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) within the Southern Highlands and the Dar es Salaam Multi- Commodity Processing Centre (DMCC)

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Infrastructure Development.
• At least 10  years of experience in infrastructure design and assessment, especially in industrial or agricultural contexts.
• Experience with utility planning (water, power, and drainage).
• Familiarity in working with Developing countries in Africa
• Familiarity in preparing  BOQ and Bidding

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:

The scope of work involves conducting a feasibility study and creating a business plan for establishing a Special Agro-Processing Zone within the Southern Highlands, linked to the Dar es Salaam Multi-Commodity Processing Centre (DMCC). The DMCC is a component within the SAPZ. The procurement zone of this SAPZ will cover the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT) and incorporate Zanzibar Island.
