Young Professional

CEFE International is looking for young professional for the project "Just Transition SMME Facility"aimed at supporting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in South Africa. We are seeking a motivated young professional to join our team and support SMMEs in business development, capacity building, and operational support with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support SMMEs in business planning, financial management, and operational development.

• Assist with projects related to finance, environmental technologies, IT, energy, trade, and tourism.

• Contribute to training, mentoring, and capacity-building activities for entrepreneurs.

• Support project implementation and monitoring activities.

• Engage with local stakeholders to facilitate access to relevant resources and networks.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: University degree (Bachelor’s) in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Political Science, Law, Social Sciences, or other fields with comparable relevance.

• Language Skills:

  • Excellent command of English (C2-level).

  • Intermediate level (B1/B2) in siSwati, isiZulu, Xitsonga, or isiNdebele is an asset.

• Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the private sector (including internships).

  • At least 2 years of experience working with SMMEs in relevant sectors such as finance, environmental technologies, IT, energy, trade, or tourism.
