Team Leader

CEFE International is looking for Team Leader for the project "Just Transition SMME Facility" aimed at supporting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in South Africa. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead a pool of experts, provide strategic guidance, and ensure high-quality implementation of projects supporting SMMEs in sustainable and green business practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Education / Training: University degree (Master’s or German Diplom) in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Change Management, Social Sciences, Finance, or other relevant fields.

• Language Skills: English, C1-level.

• General Professional Experience: 20 years in Business Development, Organisational Development, Change Management, or related fields.

• Specific Professional Experience:

  • 18 years advising, coaching, and training SMMEs.

  • 10 years linking SMMEs to financiers.

• Leadership / Management Experience: 15 years with disciplinary responsibility for at least 3 people or budget responsibility of at least ZAR 2 million.

• Professional Experience in South Africa: 10 years, including 2 years in the Mpumalanga context.

• Other Experience: 3 years in Green Economy, Circular Economy, Renewable Energy, or Just Transition.
