Traffic Engineer

The opportunity is related to Multi Modal Transport and Trade Logistics Assessment, Formulation of Masterplan(s) and Supporting Capacity Development. The broad scope of services includes 

• Capacity Building in Multimodal Transport and Trade Logistics
• Corridor-based Multimodal Transport & Trade Logistics Assessment
• The Railway Master Plan
• Feasibility study on Bhutan Inland Waterway Transport (IWT)
• Aerial Ropeway and Scoping Feasibility for Bhutan
• Multi Modal Transport and Trade Logistics Master Plan
• Policy and Governance review for Waterway, Aerial ropeway & Railway Infrastructure development .

Expert Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and a postgraduate degree in traffic engineering.
• Licensed as a traffic engineer in home country.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience conducting traffic assessments and forecasts using modern traffic modeling software.
• Preferred experience in road safety and traffic engineering in developing countries, especially Bhutan.
