Key Expert 2: Trade and Export Promotion and Enhancement

Project: “Promoting Trade and Investment in Angola”, Angola

About the project:

The aim of the project is strengthening competitiveness, regional integration, boosting investment and exports and diversifying the Angolan economy, this project will reinforce national capacities in the various fields as described by the expected outputs. This intervention intends to promote and increase inclusive and sustainable investment and trade that contribute to Angola’s green transition and contribute to sustainable economic diversification, sustainability of the local private sector and promotion of exports beyond oil.

Role Description:

This expert will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the promotion and enhancement of trade and exports, including in addressing trade barriers. This includes, mainly, support to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and related bodies, but also, if needed, to other stakeholders in the sector.

Qualifications and skills:

• Degree in International Trade, Economics, International Business Management, Marketing or related fields. Master´s in the same areas would be an asset.
• Fluency in Portuguese (minimum C1) and English (minimum C1), oral and written.

General Professional Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in the area of Trade and Export promotion.
• Previous experience in technical assistance projects
