Design and Implementation of Two Rounds of the Advanced Track of the Youth Challenge on Climate Change

Key Expert
The Youth Capacity Building & Training Specialist will design and deliver youth-centred training and bootcamp activities under the advanced track of the Youth Challenge. The role focuses on strengthening youth’ and young people’s skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, and climate action through participatory and experiential learning approaches.
Design and deliver capacity-building trainings and bootcamps targeting youth participating in the advanced track.
Apply participatory, youth-centred, and experiential learning methodologies aligned with innovation and climate action objectives.
Support youth teams in developing skills related to problem-solving, teamwork, pitching, and solution design.
Contribute to the preparation and facilitation of pitching sessions and bootcamps.
Coordinate closely with the Climate-Smart Entrepreneurship Expert and Project Manager to ensure coherence across training and mentorship activities.
Support training evaluations and contribute to progress and learning reports.
Minimum 4 years of experience in youth capacity building, training delivery, or education programmes for youth.
Proven experience working with adolescents and young people in skills development or entrepreneurship programmes.
Strong background in participatory training and experiential learning methodologies for youth.
Experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or climate-related programmes is an asset.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and mentoring skills.
Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
