Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Learning and Knowledge Management Specialist (International) to join us on an upcoming Capacity Building initiative in Tajikistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Skills Training Program for road sector professionals, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement e-learning modules in conjunction with in-person training to create an effective blended learning approach
  • Establish and maintain a digital knowledge repository, incorporating sustainable tools and practices for long-term viability
  • Train national stakeholders in digital learning methodologies, ensuring their capability to maintain and update content independently
  • Conduct periodic site visits to Tajikistan, totaling approximately 3 months over the course of the project

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a Master's degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in e-learning development and digital platform design
  • Must possess proven experience in managing digital knowledge products for international development projects
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in teaching and instructional design
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in digital learning contexts
  • Experience working in international development projects, particularly in Central Asia
  • Proficiency in Russian or Tajik language
  • Familiarity with road sector terminology and concepts
  • Experience in conducting training needs assessments and evaluating learning outcomes
