MAGENTA’s MENA team operates on projects that include strategic communication, behavioural
insights research, campaign design, SBC intervention implementation, and evaluation. We are
looking for a highly creative and impact-driven professional to join this team as Content &
Campaigns Specialist, someone who thrives in dynamic creative environments and is
passionate about producing high-quality, meaningful work.
Primary responsibilities of the Content & Campaigns Specialist are:
(1) leading the creative process and designing multi-platform communication campaigns,
(2) overseeing the production of multimedia and written content across English and Arabic,
(3) ensuring all outputs meet EU visibility, editorial and quality standards, and
(4) supporting coordination with EU-funded projects and public diplomacy efforts through
creative content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creative Direction & Campaign Design
• Lead the concepting and development of multi-platform communication campaigns.
• Produce creative briefs, messaging frameworks, and visual identity concepts.
• Work with designers, editors, photographers, AV teams, media buyers and animators.
2. Content Production Management

• Oversee development of human-interest stories, videos, photography, graphic assets,
infographics and reels.
• Ensure all content aligns with EU visibility guidelines and brand identity.
• Supervise production schedules, creative reviews, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate the creation of social media content and toolkits.
3. Editorial & Messaging Oversight
• Write or edit newsworthy, media-ready and social-media-ready content.
• Ensure editorial alignment across English and Arabic materials.
• Support translation, script development and content adaptation for Jordanian audiences.
4. Coordination & Communication
• Support coordination with EU-funded projects to harmonise messages.
• Contribute to public diplomacy events with content, scripts, coverage and messaging.
• Provide creative support to EUDIGITOOL updates and content uploads.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Degree in communication, journalism, PR, marketing, advertising, social sciences, or
related field.
• In absence of a degree: 5 additional years relevant experience.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in media, communication, marketing or
advertising.
• Minimum 5 years managing at least three full communication campaigns, evidenced
by a portfolio.
• Minimum 5 years producing digital and audiovisual content.
• Experience writing newsworthy or editorial content.
• Knowledge of EU communication, policies and neighbourhood policy (asset).
• Knowledge of Jordan’s institutional and social context (asset).
Skills
• Excellent command of English and Arabic (written and oral).
• Strong creative development and content production skills.
• Familiarity with design, editing, and social media tools.
• Strong narrative-building and story development capacity.
