In this role, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of simulation games aimed at challenging socio-cultural norms and supporting gender-responsive public policy in Morocco. You will play a key role in coordinating context analysis and needs assessments, contributing to game design and testing, developing Training of Trainers materials, and supporting monitoring and reporting, while working closely with the Team Leader, project partners, and the client throughout the assignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Key Expert will report to the Team Lead. Typical tasks include:

• Coordination of a (light) context analysis and needs assessment in the 3 project regions as a basis for game design
Coordinating a light context analysis and needs assessment across the three project regions to inform the content, scenarios, and design of the simulation games, ensuring relevance to local socio-cultural and institutional contexts.

• Coordination of Game Design, Development and implementation in coordination with the Team Leader
Supporting and coordinating the design, development, and implementation of the simulation games in close collaboration with the Team Leader, contributing technical inputs throughout the game development cycle.

• Simulation Game Testing
Leading and supporting the testing of the simulation games, including preparation of test runs, facilitation support, and collection of participant feedback to inform refinement of the games.

• Development of Training for Trainers
Contributing to the design and development of Training of Trainers materials and sessions to build the capacity of partners and client staff to facilitate and replicate the simulation games.

• Monitoring and Report Writing
Supporting monitoring activities and contributing to reporting requirements, including documentation of testing and implementation feedback and inputs to progress and evaluation reports.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Education/training: University qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations or another related field

·       Language: C1-level language proficiency in French, C1 level in Arabic/ Darija- Moroccan Dialect

·       3 years of professional experience in behavioural simulations

·       3 years of professional experience in the field of gender equality

·       2 years of professional experience in the MENA region

·       3 years of professional experience in DC projects

·       2 years of experience with activities in the fields of positive masculinities and/or unpaid care work
