International Recruiter/Sourcing Support

About the role

DevelopmentPeople is seeking an International Recruiter to support expert sourcing for development projects.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of international cooperation and contribute to high-impact projects.

Main responsibilities

• Identify, research, and approach qualified experts for framework contracts (FWC) and technical assistance (TA) projects.

• Analyse Terms of Reference and client needs to translate them into targeted searches.

• Use databases, social media, and direct outreach to source suitable profiles.

• Support proposal preparation (CV selection and formatting, document collection).

• Build and maintain a network of international experts.

Profile sought

• Degree in Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Management, or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in international recruitment, ideally in EU cooperation/development.
• Good knowledge of EU institutions, IFIs, and donor-funded programmes.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Proficiency in English; another EU language (French, Spanish, Portuguese…) is an asset.
• Strong organisational skills, results orientation, and ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Location: remote

• Part-time position – 20 hours per week
