Expert 2: Energy Efficiency and Climate Change

CEFE International GmbH, a German consultancy specializing in private sector development and international cooperation, will submit its application for the ProCircular project. The company has over 15 years of experience in implementing projects globally, promoting innovative and sustainable approaches to strengthen capacities in inclusive businesses.

To form our pool of experts, we are seeking a consultant with experience in: Energy Efficiency and Climate Change.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or related fields linked to energy efficiency or climate change mitigation.

  • A Master’s degree in energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainability, environmental management, or climate policy is desirable.

• Language:

  • Spanish: Level C1

  • English: Level B2

• General Professional Experience:

  • 6 years of professional experience in the design, implementation, or evaluation of technical projects in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or climate change mitigation, especially in the manufacturing sectors with an emphasis on food and domestic trade.

• Specific Professional Experience:

  • 2 years of professional experience in designing and implementing training programs or tools in energy efficiency or clean technologies.

  • 1 specific experience in coordination with MSMEs, multi-stakeholder platforms, or regional networks.

• Professional Experience in the Country of Assignment and/or Region of Assignment:

  • 5 years of professional experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, South America, and Central America.

  • 3 years of professional experience in Peru.

• Experience in Development Cooperation: Not required.
